RAYCHEM HSQ stainless steel (321) sheathed mineral insulated (MI) series resistance trace heating cables are engineered to offer freeze protection and process temperature maintenance in industrial settings. MI HSQ SS321 Industrial Heating Cables boast the capability to withstand exposure temperatures up to 700°C (dependent on joints) and deliver typical power outputs up to 150 W/m. The 321 stainless steel sheath ensures robust corrosion resistance against various organic acids and alkalis, making them suitable for hazardous areas. Configured heating units are available under the ‘fast track’ option.

Widely utilized in bitumen plants, gas plants, oil refineries, reactors and vessels, sodium loops, and various heat-tracing applications demanding temperature resistance, substantial power output, and durability. These cables withstand exposure temperatures up to 680°C and deliver a typical power output of 150 W/m, with the possibility of achieving higher temperatures and power outputs through consultation with nVent. They are offered as bulk cables or factory-terminated units, ensuring optimal connection quality through brazing or laser welding techniques, accompanied by a comprehensive range of installation, connection, and splicing components.
