10.000.000 Raspberry Pi Sold

Since its release in 2012, Raspberry Pi has been spreading massively all over the world; in other words it has never ceased to increase in sales for four and a half years.
In 2015 Raspberry Pi 2 B model was the best-selling customized computer of all time, although it was only released in the same year in February. Simultaneously, it was announced by Raspberry Pi that they have already sold 5 million units.
In addition, due to the growing interest in Raspberry Pi in Turkey, we SAMM Technology announced in September 2015 that our Raspberry Pi sales have reached 10.000 units.
On the other hand, Eben Upton, the founder of Raspberry Pi, has announced this month - September 2016 - in a ceremonial atmosphere that Raspberry Pi sales have passed 10,000,000 units.
We would like also to announce that the total number of Raspberry Pi units we have sold in Turkey, has reached 19,000 units.
This number is going to have a very significant increase very soon, after we open the sale for the new model o Raspberry Pi ZERO.
