SAMM Teknoloji Welcomes the CERN Task Force Delegation

As part of the second five-year evaluation process of Türkiye’s Associate Membership to CERN, the CERN Task Force delegation, accompanied by representatives from the Turkish Energy, Nuclear and Mining Research Authority (TENMAK), TOBB Technology Transfer Office Director Mr. Hakan KIZILTOPRAK, distinguished academics working at CERN, and Prof. Dr. Veysi Erkcan Özcan, visited SAMM Teknoloji’s manufacturing and R&D facilities in Gebze.

During the visit, the delegation examined SAMM Teknoloji’s high-density MTP/MPO fiber optic cable production capabilities on site, as well as the advanced fiber termination lines and quality laboratories. As Türkiye’s only manufacturer of MTP/MPO fiber optic cables, SAMM Teknoloji has been supplying over 200 critical fiber optic components to CERN for more than five years, delivering strategic engineering contributions to Europe’s leading scientific institution.

Our high-density connectivity solutions, designed for space efficiency and uninterrupted data transmission, were presented by our engineering teams, highlighting the export of 100% locally engineered products built to European standards. The visit also provided an opportunity to showcase our expanding R&D investments and our commitment to elevating Türkiye’s engineering capabilities on a global scale.
